What are the key parts of your financial plan? What is the logic behind it?

Financial plan is the translation of your business model into figures. It is crucial for understanding the viability of your business. Qualiy of your financial plan is also an important deciding factor for your investors.

In this workshop, we will see the different parts of a successful financial plan, the logic behind it and practical tips that you can use to improve your existing financial plan or to build one from scratch for your future business.

This 2-hour workshop includes a presentation followed by group discussions; maximum two gropus with up to 5 participants in each. One additional hour is allocated for an individual Q&A.

Xavier is a passionate entrepreneur who’s launched and managed several companies in the media and retail sectors. His daily bread is accounting and budgets, P&L and Cash-Flow management. He is working as an external CFO with a number of small companies.

Martin has over 15 years experience in different Finance/IT functions for multi-national companies. Within his FinanceCoach24.com project he provides “ad-hoc CFO” assistance to start-up companies in (pre) seed-capital phase as well as to running SMEs.

Preparation

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel will be necessary.

Basic knolwedge of accounting principles would be useful; if you aren't familiar with accounting at all, we strongly recommend taking part in our Accounting workshop.
